IT Officer Opportunity

The Cambodian Center for Human Rights (“CCHR”) is a non-aligned, independent, and non-governmental organization that works to promote and protect democracy and respect for human rights –primarily civil and political rights – throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia, is seeking a dynamic and professional individual to fill the following position for IT Officer to work for CCHR. Selected candidate will work in our office based in Phnom Penh.

Salary: USD522-USD616 gross per month depending on relevant background, experience, and qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Computer Network infrastructure and all CCHR’s digital devices;
• Perform maintenance tasks such as installing Windows OS, Mac OS and all relevant software installation and other basic maintenance;
• Manage and backup Servers (Active Directory, File Server) and other data;
• Work closely with web developer in updating and posting documents into CCHR’s web and social media;
• Design materials such as leaflet, banner, backdrop etc. with Photoshop, Illustrator, or online design tool;
• Report over technical devices and maintenance work;
•  Work closely with the project team and report to web developer and management committee;
• Provide other IT related tasks and necessary supporting roles to CCHR team.

Requirements

• University degree in a discipline relevant to the role, namely computer sciences, and engineering and information technology;
• A proven track record (minimum of one-year experience) in data backup, network administrator (LAN, Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP, and Firewall; File Server, Print Server, wireless and router;
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and related design tools;
• Good knowledge of English language;
• Royalty, Enthusiastic and innovative;
• Ability to work under pressure on challenging and sensitive issues; and
• Highly self-motivated and able to work with a high level of responsibility and with limited supervision, in a team and independently.
